No blog post for over a month.  Wow!!  Usually this means one of two things, either you have nothing to write about or you are so busy that you cannot find five minutes to blog.  Luckily, I was a victim of the latter.  Business was great this year.  I took part in so many craft shows this year that I almost lost count.  Nevertheless, each one was well worth it.   I may have not sold many items at some of them but hopefully all of the PR I did will show some returns in the new year.  Running a small business during an economic downturn is very, very tough and frustrating.  There were time when I just wanted to give up, but I did not get to where I am by giving up!  2010 is a whole new year with all the same old challenges and tons of new challenges.

I am happy to announce that my new site is now live!  It took a little longer that I had hoped but in the end the extra time was worth it.  I hope you find the new site easier to use.  It has been scaled down some to make it more usable an a lot quicker.

The new main website is getting so close to going live. The new site has been in the works for almost a month and it is looking real good so far. The main reason for the new site is to make things easier for our customers. The old website is a little clunky in our opinion. The new site should be much easier to navigate and it will look a lot better as well. This debating whether or not to include a guest checkout option. Does anyone have any thoughts about a guest checkout option? You can look forward to seeing the new site live something this week.

Things have been extremely busy for me lately so I haven’t had any time to blog over the last couple of weeks. I have been kept really, really busy with all of the area fall festivals. But all the work and time has been well worth it. Anyways, I was at the Old Clifton Days festival during the last weekend in September and I am finally getting around to post a few pictures from the weekend. The weather that weekend could have been better but all in all it was a good time had by all.

I would like to invite everyone to come out to the Spring Valley Potato Festival this weekend.  The festival is being held this year in Spring Valley, OH (very convienent I must say) on October 3rd and 4th.  You can get more info about the festival here.
